How the templates work
Templates are drawn with the same walls, rooms, doors, windows and furniture you use yourself, so nothing is locked or flattened. Room areas update as you edit, in m² for metric projects and sq ft for imperial ones.
Opening a template never changes the template itself. Each time you open one you get a fresh project of your own, stored in this browser.

Frequently asked questions
Are the templates free to use?
Yes. Open, change, export and share them as you like.
What sizes are the templates?
The table above lists the rooms and total room area of each one in both m² and sq ft, and each template page lists every room with its width and length. Change any wall length to fit your own space.
How are the template areas measured?
To the center lines of the walls, the way the editor’s area schedule measures every room. The clear floor inside each room is therefore slightly smaller than the figure shown.
Can I combine two templates?
Yes, one object at a time. Select a room, wall or piece of furniture in one project and copy it (Ctrl/⌘ C), open the other project in the same browser tab and paste it (Ctrl/⌘ V); a copied room brings its walls, doors and windows.
Can I print a template to scale?
Yes. Export it as a PDF on A4, A3 or US Letter at 1:50, 1:100 or 1:200, or fitted to the page, with a scale bar and an optional room schedule. SVG and PNG exports are there too.
