Sizes and areas are measured to the center lines of the walls, the same way the editor’s area schedule measures them, so each room’s clear floor is slightly smaller.

What makes this layout work

  1. Every room reaches the hall

The 1.90 × 1.30 m (6′ 3″ × 4′ 3″) hall keeps the front door, and each room has its own door off it, so nothing is cut off from the others.

  2. Two true bedrooms

The 9.6 m² (103 sq ft) bedroom and the 9.0 m² (97 sq ft) second bedroom are both sized for a full bed.

  3. A shared 3D tour

The plan ships with four saved 3D cameras, one per room in walking order; play the fly-through to see the sequence of spaces.

Who this template suits

  1. A starter house

Begin from a complete single-storey layout instead of a blank plan.

  2. Showing a 3D walkthrough

Use the saved cameras to present the rooms in order without setting them up by hand.

  3. Adapting room sizes

Drag the room walls; the dimensions and the 3D preview follow.

Things to consider

  1. One bathroom for two bedrooms

The single bath serves both bedrooms and the living spaces. Add a second one off the hall if two households will use the house.

  2. The dining room is enclosed

The 3.30 × 3.00 m (10′ 10″ × 9′ 10″) dining room has its own door. Open its wall into the living area for a more open plan.

  3. No en-suite

Both bedrooms share the one bath and the front of the house; add a door and a second bathroom if you want one closer to the bedrooms.

Make it fit your space

  1. Open the living and dining

Delete the wall between the living and dining rooms (select it and press Delete) for an open-plan lounge.

  2. Add a bedroom

Split the largest room with a wall (W) and add a door (D) to make a three-bedroom plan.

  3. Change the camera tour

Open the camera panel in the 3D view and add, rename or reorder the fly-through stops.

Frequently asked questions

6 rooms on one floor: Dining, Bedroom, Bedroom 2, Kitchen, Bath, Hall.

How big is the 5-room house?

43.8 m² (472 sq ft) on one level, the hall included, to the wall center lines of 5.70 × 8.04 m (18′ 8″ × 26′ 5″).

Does the plan have a 3D walkthrough?

Yes. It ships with four saved 3D cameras placed one per room in walking order; play the fly-through from the 3D view.

How does it differ from the other house templates?
