Floor Plan Designer
For layouts that have to be exact, this floor plan designer lets you fix what must stay true with constraints, keep dimensions attached to the geometry, and step back through a full history of every edit.

Keep the design intent
In a quick sketch, moving one wall can throw the rest out of square. Here you can tell the plan what must stay true: this wall is 3.6 m (11'10"), these two are parallel, this corner does not move. A constraint solver then keeps those rules while you adjust everything else.
Each wall lists its constraints in the properties panel, and any one can be removed when the design moves on.
Design tools
Geometric constraints
Length, horizontal, vertical, parallel, perpendicular, angle and pinned-corner constraints.
Offset copies
Copy a wall to the left, right, above or below at a typed distance.
Layers
Architecture, structure, furniture, dimensions and annotations can be hidden, locked or faded.
Command palette and shortcuts
Press ⌘K or Ctrl+K to run any command by name; single keys switch tools, and ? lists them all.
History panel
Every edit is a named step; click any step to go back to it.
Scaled output
Export a PDF at 1:50, 1:100 or 1:200 with a title block, legend and room schedule, or an SVG or DXF to finish elsewhere.
A precise workflow
Block out the plan
Draw walls with typed lengths and angle snapping.
Add constraints
Lock key lengths and relate walls as parallel or perpendicular.
Refine
Move walls and corners; the solver keeps your constraints satisfied.
Annotate
Add dimension lines and labels on their own layers.
Publish
Export a PDF, SVG or DXF, or share the editable project as a link or a .fp3d file.
Working through options
Duplicate a project before a big change, and you can put two versions side by side in 3D or print both at the same scale. The area schedule gives each option's room areas and totals, measured to wall centre lines, so options are compared on the same basis.
The editor exports DXF for CAD software but not DWG, and it has no structural or building-code checks and no elevation or section drawings. Use it to settle a layout before it goes to someone who produces construction drawings.
Who it is for
Interior designers
Prepare clean layout options to present to clients, with dimensions that stay attached.
Students
Practise plan drawing with real dimensions, constraints and scaled output.
Facilities and office managers
Lay out meeting rooms, desks and break areas for a workplace.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if two constraints conflict?
The solver finds the closest arrangement it can. Review the list of constraints on the wall and remove the one you no longer need.
Can I open my drawing in other software?
Yes. Export a DXF for CAD programs or an SVG for vector drawing programs.
Is there a keyboard-driven workflow?
Yes. Tools have single-key shortcuts (V, W, R, D, N, S, C, M, T and Shift+D), and the command palette (⌘K or Ctrl+K) runs any command by name.
Can I print at a standard scale?
Yes. The PDF export uses 1:50, 1:100 or 1:200 on A4, A3 or US Letter, with a scale bar, and warns you if the plan will not fit the sheet.
Is it a replacement for CAD or BIM software?
No. It is for layout design and communication. Construction drawings, structure and code compliance need professional tools and people.
Can I keep several versions of a design?
Yes. Duplicate the project on your projects page and develop each option separately; each one keeps its own undo history while it is open.
