About MyFloorPlanMaker
MyFloorPlanMaker is a floor plan editor for anyone who needs a measured layout: people planning a move or a renovation, students, designers, landlords and small businesses.
What it is
A precise 2D plan editor and a live 3D model in one browser tab. Walls, rooms, doors, windows, stairs, columns, furniture, dimension lines and notes all live in a single project, so the 2D plan and the 3D view never disagree.
Around the editor, the site has editable templates, annotated examples, room and house plan pages, calculators and guides that explain how floor plans are drawn and read.
How it is built
Free to use, with no account. Your projects are stored in your own browser rather than on our servers, and the editor keeps working offline once it has loaded.
The pages on this site describe only what the editor can do today. Features that are not ready stay off these pages.
Limits
Use it to plan a layout and share it; it is not CAD or architectural software. It does not produce construction or permit drawings or check building codes. Room areas are measured to wall centre lines, and a plan is as accurate as the measurements you type into it.
